the truth behind the name (and much more)
For the sake of updating, let me tell you the story behind my name (not that you want to know, but whatever, this is my blog)
My complete name is Nina Linly Dionisio Capulong.
Nina
"This name coincides with the Spanish word niña meaning little girl"
When my dad was courting my mom, instead of love letters, he would send her drawings. I remember one drawing that my dad showed me, it was of a little girl and had many names around it "harper" "nina". My dad knew that my mom was going to have a girl, therefore, they named me Nina meaning "little girl". Due to this, my parents always tell me "No matter how big you are and how grown up you'll be, you'll always be our little girl. (uyy cheesy)
Linly
Now, this is very interesting.
My dad once had an older sister named Linly. My dad said that I had her eyes and act very much like her. Unfortunately, she died when she was my age. My dad said that he sees her in me. Tita Linly had a talent for writing; I remember my dad saying that she liked to write poems. One particular line that was written on her tombstone was "love is everything we see"
I didn't understand this line at first, then after one too many walks and one too many movies, I realized that love is everything we see and everything we feel. Love is the people around us, the way that they do their best to keep you happy. Love is may also be in our enemies, in our flaws, and how to accept these things. Love is in the air around us, we can;t see it, but we can feel it. Love is everything we see and everything we feel.
I may be too young to be in love and understand this, but thank you, Tita Linly for this message.
Love is loving your name no matter how many people spell it wrong -_-

050413- Digital Photography Convention @ BGC
After an hour, we left the party and spent the rest of the day at the convention. There were aspiring Photographers everywhere, tutorials, photo booths and things to take pictures of. I even got a free sensor + lens cleaning! I honestly love it when a day goes unexpectedly well.

0427-28 '13 Alabang
What's the best way to spend midsummer? A reunion with some of your old friends! The funny thing is, even if we went our separate ways, we still talked like the good old days.
We decided to have the reunion at my uncle's house in Ayala, Alabang. We started the day out by swimming with my brother and cousins. Then we decided to play truth or dare while catching up and pigging out ( I promise, you never get hungry there) and decided to watch some movies. Finally, at 11 pm, after everyone went home, me and Kate started our "kwentuhan session" because she was the only one allowed to sleep over. Believe it or not, this was my first sleep over!
I don't want to make this post lengthy so, here are pictures to show what happened.

Happy Birthday, Paula Mae Genova Dagsi!!
Let me tell you a story.
One day, a 6 year-old Nina sat in her chair on the very first day of elementary school. She felt a tap on her shoulder, she saw a girl in pigtails and crooked teeth. "Hi, my name's Paula, do you watch Lazy Town?" . And that's how it all began. Fast forward 8 years later, Nina and Paula became the best of friends. They've been by each other's side for 8 whole years and never once have they left each other. Paula coped with Nina's weirdness. She's been there through thick and thin, and when skies were grey, she'd be there for me. She and I told jokes that nobody understood and secrets neither of us would tell. Even if Paula moved away and distance came, it did not become a barrier for our friendship. And in 2 hours, Paula's going to turn 14. So, here it is, happy birthday my bestest friend and my other half!! Hope you have a great day and great years ahead.
Stay Weird, XOXO Mrs. Hutcherson
