DeJavu
Sneak Peak for the next post! I've been so busy, I don't even have time to blog anymore. I'm too preoccupied with schoolwork, SC work and club work. One of the perks of being a sports ed has led me to covering DeJaVu, one thing to blog about. On another note, I just turned fourteen. Wopee.

050413- Digital Photography Convention @ BGC
After an hour, we left the party and spent the rest of the day at the convention. There were aspiring Photographers everywhere, tutorials, photo booths and things to take pictures of. I even got a free sensor + lens cleaning! I honestly love it when a day goes unexpectedly well.

0427-28 '13 Alabang
What's the best way to spend midsummer? A reunion with some of your old friends! The funny thing is, even if we went our separate ways, we still talked like the good old days.
We decided to have the reunion at my uncle's house in Ayala, Alabang. We started the day out by swimming with my brother and cousins. Then we decided to play truth or dare while catching up and pigging out ( I promise, you never get hungry there) and decided to watch some movies. Finally, at 11 pm, after everyone went home, me and Kate started our "kwentuhan session" because she was the only one allowed to sleep over. Believe it or not, this was my first sleep over!
I don't want to make this post lengthy so, here are pictures to show what happened.

Happy Birthday, Paula Mae Genova Dagsi!!
Let me tell you a story.
One day, a 6 year-old Nina sat in her chair on the very first day of elementary school. She felt a tap on her shoulder, she saw a girl in pigtails and crooked teeth. "Hi, my name's Paula, do you watch Lazy Town?" . And that's how it all began. Fast forward 8 years later, Nina and Paula became the best of friends. They've been by each other's side for 8 whole years and never once have they left each other. Paula coped with Nina's weirdness. She's been there through thick and thin, and when skies were grey, she'd be there for me. She and I told jokes that nobody understood and secrets neither of us would tell. Even if Paula moved away and distance came, it did not become a barrier for our friendship. And in 2 hours, Paula's going to turn 14. So, here it is, happy birthday my bestest friend and my other half!! Hope you have a great day and great years ahead.
Stay Weird, XOXO Mrs. Hutcherson

Cool Kids Never Die
Last April 19, I spent the entire day with my former grade 7 classmates from 7S. We all went to our Vice President, Frannie's house.
Question the title? Well, we call ourselves "the cool kids" (but in reality we're all really awkward and peculiar but awesome in some way hehe) and during the last few days of school, we talked about leaving each other and we came upon a picture that said "Cool kids never die"; and since then, that became our quote.
Here's a peak of our adventures!

Diamond ♢
Spent last April 15-18 at the Diamond Hotel with my family!! *Suite Life of Zack and Cody mode: on*
I felt at home with Diamond Hotel's amazing buffet, pool and service. Did I mention that it's right beside Manila Bay? It has a perfect view of Roxas Boulevard and the bay!

Sipalay / Bacolod 2013 (Day 3-4)
Spent my
last few days in Bacolod walking on memory lane; doing things I did as a
kid. To name a few, I went swimming, ate at my childhood favorite
retaurant Bob's, went horseback riding and joined an Easter egg hunt
(don't judge me ssh). Looking back really did something good for me.
Here's memory lane in pictures!

Sipalay/Bacolod 2013 (Day 1-2)
Sandy beaches, exotic animals, long car rides, horse back riding, Easter egg hunts, beach volleyball, night swimming and paradise. Yep, all these in 4 days.
Thanks to my tito, tita and lola, for this holy week, my family and I were fortunate enough to go Bacolod and Sipalay to take a break from the city.
So here's day 1 and day 2 activities in pictures
The pictures I took from the 6 hour long car ride going from Bacolod to Sipalay! It was paradise already going there. Trees and seas everywhere!
My best friends for five days :) (Well, except my phone and the book nyehehe)
Woke up to this every morning
Hermit crabs!

Before the boat ride and snorkeling. This was my first time to ride a boat. Taking this off my bucket list.
Snorkeling. At first, I was terrified because this was something new, something I haven't done before, but after I while, I didn't want to leave. What I saw was like an underwater oasis; neon blue fish, purple corals and (unfortunately) I even saw a jelly fish! Too bad I wasn't allowed to bring my camera. Checking this off my bucket list, again.

Beach Volleyball. Found my inner Alyssa Valdez!! Just kidding. Volleyball
was my first love and beach volleyball is my new found love.
Bucketlist, check!

And finally, a beautiful ending to a beautiful day.

Reality vs Fantasy
Fantasy
It's just like the movies. In fantasy, there's no such thing as a bittersweet ending, everything's sugar coated and the ending is perfect. You imagine yourself living in a perfect world. You start with once upon a time and end with happily ever after. In a fantasy, you have your fairy god mother and this prince charming. This prince charming, he's perfect. He gives you good morning and good night messages, he's by your side each second of everyday, he's a shoulder you could cry on, a person you can tell your secrets to. He's there to hold your hand and tell you that you're beautiful; because of him, you believe that you're beautiful. At the end of the day, you walk around sunset and run away to the world of never ending happiness.
But in reality? It's totally different.
Reality
In reality, you read books and watch movies of people you'll never become and adventures you'll never have. In real life, you would probably not have a fairy godmother, and who knows, the villain is probably disguising himself as prince charming. You never know.
That's the thing about life, you never know what tomorrow brings. Tomorrow's a mystery, like a prize hidden at the bottom of the cereal box. What if tomorrow, it gets better? What if I can finally have my happily ever and scars are healed? What if tomorrow gets worse? What if another challenge comes and the wound opens?
Here's one thing you should know, no matter how you started your story, no matter how many bumps on the road you get, and no matter how bad your life is right now there is always a happily ever after.
Yes, it might not come now, or tomorrow, or even the day after that. Hell, I might take years but no matter what, things will eventually get better. So if you're sitting there moping on how bad your life is, don't worry because it gets better.

Sunshine and City Lights
I may not be a big fan of Greyson Chance, but this song is an exception. Also, it's very appropriate for this post :-) ((Please forgive my amateur photography skills))
Yesterday, my family and I went to Rizal to go to a relative's wake. I enjoyed the journey going to and from Rizal. Yesterday, I really got to bond with my relatives and got to know them more. May Mr. Magdamit's soul rest in peace.

090213 - Blue and Green
Today, me and my family watched the much awaited Ateneo vs LaSalle round 2 in the MOA Arena. The arena was packed with fans and we immediately felt the anticipation as soon as we stepped inside the arena. Weird thing was, we were Ateneo fans and we sat in a crowd full of LaSallians!!
La Salle won the match, but this would not get in the way of the Lady Eagles who played a great game today. Who knows what could happen in round three?

020113-BLACKOUT
On February 1st 2013, cliche as it sounds, I had the best day of my life, no joke. I felt euphoric, blissful, happy, ecstatic. On this day, our batch came together as one and spent one whole night partying like there was no tomorrow. It was entitled "Blackout" as the theme was a black and white party.
The party started of with the announcement of who won the "Most Attendees of the Night" award. By 5'oclock, who ever had the most attendees would win a pizza party the following week. To our surprise, our section 7S won by 1 student more than the second placer. Then the students started dancing and helped themselves to a black and white buffet. (I didn't get to take pictures because I was busy taking pictures on the dancefloor, mehehe). Our class was definitely united. We were ran in circles, we sat on the middle of the dancefloor and danced all night. Yes, we did look insane but it was a blast :)
After an hour, performances were done by 3 of our classmates and 3 other performances from the other sections. A surprise dance group showed up and gave life to the dancefloor. The last event was the rewarding of Ms. Congeniality, Ms. Best Dressed and Ms. Blackout. Fortunately, our section's candidate, Ian won as Ms. Congeniality!!
I could explain further but the post is becoming lengthy &I think pictures would explain better so here are few of the tons of pictures that I took :)
